Measuring for driveshaft. |
|
|
|
|
1. All driveshafts should be measured
"center to center of the U joints" |
|
|
2. With the vehicle at ride height,
install the transmission yoke. |
|
|
Push it all the way into the trans. |
|
|
3. Pull it out a min of 1", max 1
1/4" |
|
|
4. Measure from the center of the U joint
at the trans to the center of the U joint |
|
at the rear end yoke. |
|
|
5. It may be easier to measure from the
back of the U joint caps front and rear. |
|
6. This will be the diminsion which
driveshaft shop will need. |
|
|
7. Check with them as to which shaft to
modify. |
|
|
